Silbah is a quiet, humble and playful girl who's happy life is disrupted only by illnesses. The child was brought to the hospital with a history of having convulsions whenever she has a fever and has been treated severally for malaria. She was diagnosed with anemia too, probably because of the several episodes of suffering from malaria.

Silbah was brought to the hospital with a history of recurrent convulsions triggered by fever, having experienced multiple episodes in the past. There were four prior instances of convulsions linked to severe malaria, and the child was also diagnosed with anemia, likely due to repeated malaria episodes. Since the age of one, the child has suffered from convulsions. During this visit, the child was treated for malaria and an upper respiratory tract infection. After being stabilized, the child was discharged with a prescription for saffron syrup, 150ml twice daily for one month, azithromycin syrup once daily for three days, and piriton syrup, 100ml for three days.

If left untreated, anaemia can lead to fatigue, weakness, paleness, shortness of breath, and reduced overall quality of life. In severe cases, untreated anaemia can result in complications such as heart problems, impaired cognitive function, and compromised immune response, underscoring the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment to prevent these health issues. Treatments for anaemia might involve taking supplements or having medical procedures. Eating a healthy diet might prevent some forms of anemia. Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
