Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Leon is an active 7-year-old boy who loves playing football in his free time and wants to be a doctor when he grows up. His mom says he's always busy in class. Two days ago, Leon started feeling feverish, having joint pain, and feeling weak all over. He has sickle cell disease. On the day he was admitted to the hospital, he also had a nosebleed.
Medical history
Two days prior to coming to the hospital, Leon had been having fevers, joint pain and general body weakness. He was brought to the hospital looking quite ill. He was assessed by the doctor, taken to the laboratory for further assessment and after a diagnosis was made, he was put on medication. His treatment went well and he responded well to medications.
Outcome
If the condition is not treated, the pain associated with a sickle cell crisis can become more severe and prolonged, significantly affecting a person's quality of life. Reduced blood flow and oxygen supply to organs can result in damage to vital organs, including the spleen, liver, kidneys, and lungs. Individuals with sickle cell disease are more susceptible to infections, and a crisis can weaken the immune system, making them even more vulnerable to infections. In some cases, the blockage of blood vessels can lead to a stroke, which can cause lasting neurological damage. Treatment for a sickle cell crisis involves pain management,In some cases, blood transfusions may be necessary to replace sickled red blood cells with healthy ones and improve oxygen delivery.
