Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

Background
Hindatu is a 7 year old girl from a poor home, who loves to play with friends. She dreams of becoming a healthcare worker. About some months ago, she developed bilateral side (Flank) pains, with pain urinating (dysuria), fever, headache, loss of appetite, and vomiting. The severe abdominal pains make her restless and in discomfort.
Medical history
Hindatu was diagnosed with Acute Malaria with Cystitis. Her treatment regimen included artesunate injection for malaria, antibiotics, and painkillers. Upon improvement in her clinical condition, she was discharged from the hospital.
Outcome
Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
