Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Fatima a 20 years old from a poor family background was brought to this facility. She is introverted,she likes cooking and have dream to become a banker. About 2 months ago, she developed lower abdominal pains, epigastric pains, nausea, and vaginal discharge. She was brought to this facility by her elder sister, and is diagnosed with Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.
Medical history
Fatima was admitted on December 19, 2023, with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, cystitis, and peptic ulcer disease. She received treatment, including antibiotics, analgesics, multivitamins, antacids, and other medications, and was discharged on December 21, 2023, in stable condition. Fatima is now feeling much better and happier, with no abdominal pain.
Outcome
If untreated, chronic PID can lead to serious problems like infertility, ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy that occurs outside the womb), chronic pelvic pain, and abscess formation in the pelvic organs. Treatment typically includes a course of antibiotics to treat the infection. It's important for sexual partners to be treated as well to prevent reinfection. In severe cases or when complications arise, surgery might be necessary.
