Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Helmi Jonas Health Centre Uradi

Kalkada, Uradi sublocation

Background

Joyrine is a two-month-old baby girl, and she's her parents' first child. Her mom took her to Helmi Jonas Health Centre because she heard it's connected to a charity organization. Joyrine had a fever and cough that weren't getting better even with medicine from the store.

Medical history

About 4 days prior to coming to the hospital, Joyrine had a fever and was coughing alot. She was brought to the hospital where she was assessed by the doctor and sent to the lab for further tests. She was diagnosed to be suffering from severe pneumonia and was managed as an in-patient in the wards. She responded well to medication.

Outcome

When bronchitis is not treated, it can lead to complications such as pneumonia or chronic bronchitis, where symptoms persist for a long time and keep coming back. In severe cases, untreated bronchitis can also cause respiratory failure, which is a medical emergency.
