Background

After diagnosis, the doctor recommended a course of treatment and now Shatu is well on her way to full recovery. The child has improved, feeling great, and the family is grateful.

It is essential to diagnose and treat pyelonephritis promptly, as untreated or severe cases can lead to kidney damage or other complications. Treatment usually involves antibiotics and supportive care to alleviate symptoms and prevent further complications.
