Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Moh'd is an 11-year-old boy who has no parents. He goes to an Islamic school in Ngomari. He's a bit shy, enjoys reciting the Holy Quran, and hopes to become a scholar one day. Three days ago, he slipped and fell while running, and a sharp object pricked his hand. His palm started swelling more and more until he couldn't use it for his usual activities because of the pain and swelling. He was diagnosed to have Severe Hand infection and Inflammation; he requires urgent medical treatment.
Medical history
Mohd was admitted on January 8, 2024, with a chronic hand infection. He underwent a successful incision and drainage (I&D) procedure under anesthesia, followed by medication. He was discharged home on January 10, 2024.
Outcome
Prompt treatment of Hand infection via incision and drainage will remove the pus cells and dead tissue. If left untreated, the swelling can lead to gangrene, oesteomyelitis and a possible amputation of the hand.
