Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Abba is a 1-year-old child from a family with limited resources. He enjoys playing with cats and has a hearty appetite for food. Not too long ago, he was perfectly fine, but then he started having sudden bouts of intense coughing, along with a fever, loss of appetite, and vomiting. This went on for over a week. At first, his parents thought it was just a regular cough, so they gave him over-the-counter medicine. However, the cough didn't go away, and it became so bad that it was hard for him to breathe at times. This morning, his parents decided to take him to the hospital. After a check-up, the doctors diagnosed him with Pertussis (also known as whooping cough). Now, Abba is waiting for medical treatment to help him get better.
Medical history
Abba was brought in with complaints of paroxysmal cough, fever, and difficulty breathing. He was admitted for treatment on January 3, 2024, for pertussis and was discharged in stable condition on January 4, 2024.
Outcome
Treatment for pertussis, or whooping cough, primarily involves antibiotics to help control the infection and reduce the spread of the disease and the child will have a better life.
