Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

Background

Mustapha is an 8-year-old boy who lost his parents. His dad left, and his mom passed away four years ago when she was sick. Since then, he's been living with his grandparents, but life has been hard for him. Three years ago, Mustapha's grandmother noticed that his right scrotum was swelling up. It started small, but it's been getting bigger and hurting him. Doctors say he has something called Right Hydrocoele and needs treatment for it.

Medical history

The child was admitted for Hydrocelectomy surgery. The surgery was successful and the boy was discharged home on 2ndFebruary 2024, after few days of recovery. No complications his now feelin good

Outcome

If scortal swelling is not treated, it can lead to prolonged pain, discomfort, and potential complications, such as hematomas (blood clots) or infection at the site of injury. The swelling needs to be surgically remove, to allow for a comfortable, painless life of the patient.
