Mim A., 10

Mim is a 10-year-old girl who used to live happily with her mom in her grandparents' single-room house. Sadly, her dad passed away four years ago, and her grandparents are no longer alive. Mim is in first grade at a primary school. She's a very outgoing girl who loves talking to her friends and visiting her cousins' houses. Her mom is the only one bringing in money for the family. Recently, Mim has been getting sick a lot with respiratory infections, and she also has a small abscess in her breast. Because of this, she needs to go to the hospital.

Mim received a diagnosis of respiratory tract infection accompanied by a small left-sided breast abscess. Her symptoms included recurrent cough and cold, respiratory distress, as well as pain and swelling around her left breast. To address her condition, Mim underwent a suitable treatment regimen consisting of injectable antibiotics, pain relievers, nebulization, and other medications, all closely monitored by medical professionals. Following the prescribed treatment, she has nearly recovered and has resumed her normal lifestyle, feeling much improved. We were desperate while looking for the money for the treatment as even Government hospitals in Bangladesh ask for money and often do not provide proper treatment."
