Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Polly Akota Unnayan Sangstha (RUDO)

Sondaho, Post: Santhia, District: Pabna. Post code: 6670, Bangladesh

Background

Shila, aged 23, got married at 15 and studied up to the 6th standard. She has a 3-year-old daughter and cooks for her family but doesn't have a source of income. Her husband is unwell and dependent. They have no place to live, but recently received a room through a government initiative in Bangladesh. Shila's greatest dream is to raise and educate her daughters and any future children she may have.

Medical history

The delivery date of Shila was 27.1.2024 but the delivery date is already over and the delivery pain is there! The patient had oligohydramnios on ultrasound. In such a situation, cesarean section operation is required to save the life of the mother and the baby. Cesarean section took about 50 minutes. It was done through a spinal block. Catheters were used to drain urine, abdominal skin was cleaned with antiseptic. The baby is taken out after the same surgery in the uterus, then the leather was sewn and added. The operation went well, without complication. After the recovery, Shila visited the RUDO hospital a couple of times to check the progress of recovery. Now Shila and her family are extremely happy! They are grateful to the RUDO Hospital and Helpster Charity!

Outcome

In cases where there are complications during pregnancy or delivery that could endanger the health of the mother and the unborn child, opting for a cesarean delivery is necessary. Sheila has previously delivered a baby normally, but she is currently experiencing a post-dated pregnancy with labor pain and oligohydramnios (low levels of amniotic fluid). In such circumstances, a cesarean section is crucial to ensure the well-being of the mother and the safe delivery of the baby.
