Shalom is a cheerful and optimistic fourteen-year-old girl who always looks on the bright side of things. She is hardworking and obedient, with a dream of becoming a nurse when she grows up. In her free time, she enjoys playing indoor games. Recently, she developed a headache, fever, and vomiting after eating. Despite taking pain relievers, her symptoms worsened, leading to her being rushed to the hospital.

About a day prior to coming to the hospital, Shalom started complaining of having headache ,fevers and was also vomiting. She was brought to the hospital where she was attended to by the doctor, was sent to the laboratory for further tests. While in the ward she was given IV antibiotics and IV medication for malaria. She responded well to medications.

Timely treatment is crucial to prevent these serious outcomes. Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
