Asma A., 17

Asma is a 17-year-old girl who lives with her parents in a small tin house. She enjoys singing and going out with her friends. She's very ambitious and has many dreams. Asma wanted to become a teacher and continue her education, but her parents couldn't afford it, so she had to stop going to school. She got married when she was 15 years old and now lives with her husband in a similar tin house.

Seventeen-year-old Asma faced a challenging health condition marked by Hypertrophy of the Inferior Turbinates alongside a Mild Deviation of the Septum. Despite seeking treatment from multiple doctors, her symptoms persisted and even worsened over time, causing recurrent respiratory tract infections, loss of smell, and occasional shortness of breath. The patient was diagnosed with Bilateral Hypertrophy of Inferior Turbinet and Deviated Nasal Septum. The patient needs to undergo an emergency surgery - the bilateral inferior turbinectomy with septoplasty. The enlargement of the nasal bone the separates two nostrils will be cut away to allow the free passage of air.
