Tobiloba O., 9

Tobiloba is a 9-year-old boy, and he's the second of five kids. His parents are divorced, so he lives with his mom, who sells small items. His dad hasn't been helping much. Tobiloba is a kind boy who likes to help others, and he dreams of becoming a soldier. About five years ago, Tobiloba's mom noticed a swelling in his groin area. It's been getting bigger and hurting more. The doctors say he has a right inguinal hernia, and he needs surgery to fix it. He's waiting for the operation.

Tobiloba was admitted on account of Inguinal hernia, a swelling that has been disturbing the child and causing some discomfort. Surgery was performed successfully on the hernia and the child stayed on admission till recovered. Then was discharged home feeling much better, the inguinal swelling had disappeared, and the child was clinically stable. The parent was grateful to Helpster Charity and quite happy.

If left untreated, inguinal hernias can lead to complications such as bowel obstruction, strangulation (where blood supply to the herniated tissue is cut off), and significant pain or discomfort. Surgery is the most common treatment for inguinal hernias to repair the weakened area and prevent these potential complications.
