Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Bokoli Sub-County Hospital, Sikata - Kimilili Rd, Bokoli

Background

Preston is a cheerful six-year-old boy with aspirations of becoming an engineer when he grows up. He enjoys drawing pictures and molding structures with clay. Preston resides with his grandmother and four siblings. He was taken to the hospital, reporting symptoms of headache, diarrhea, and vomiting over the past three days.

Medical history

Preston was admitted in the hospital in-patient and discharged after three days. He was already showing improvement after the second day of treatment. His aunty was happy with the support given to her child. The patient was admitted with diarrhea, hotness of body and vomiting. After laboratory test as FHG, stool for microscopy and O/C the patient was diagnosed of Acute Gastroenteritis. The patient was treated with iv antibiotics. Now the patient feels better.

Outcome

Gastroenteritis can cause significant loss of fluids and electrolytes through vomiting and diarrhea. Without proper treatment, dehydration can become severe and require urgent medical attention.
