Isa, a 10-year-old student at Primary School, is known for his sociable nature and love for playing football by the riverside near his home. With aspirations of becoming a businessman in the future to support his parents and siblings, Isa is determined to succeed. However, Isa's well-being took a turn three days ago when he developed fever, headache, cough, and difficulty breathing, accompanied by a loss of appetite. Due to financial constraints, his parents were unable to seek medical treatment for him until they learned about Helpster. Following examination and laboratory investigation at our facility, Isa was diagnosed with Malaria, Enteric fever, and Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI).

Isa Nmate, a young child, had been struggling with malaria, enteric fever, and an upper respiratory tract infection that left him weak and unable to play like other children. His worried parents took him to Nakowa Specialist Hospital, where the doctors quickly diagnosed his condition and began a comprehensive treatment plan. Under the Hospital's care, Isa received the right medications which enabled him to slowly regain his strength and energy. The medical expenses was all covered by Helpster Charity which gave the parent great relief and hope. Grateful and overjoyed by Isa's recovery, his parents felt immense appreciation for the hospital and Helpster Charity, knowing that their child had been given a second chance to enjoy his childhood in good health.

Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences. If an upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) is not treated, it can weaken the immune system and the body's natural defenses. This can make it easier for other infections, such as bacterial sinusitis or ear infections, to develop as secondary complications. If the URTI is caused by a contagious virus (e.g., the common cold or influenza), untreated individuals can continue to spread the infection to others, potentially leading to outbreaks in close-contact settings like schools or workplaces.
