Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Divine Amazing Grace Hospital

2 Musari Apena St, Airport Rd, off local, Shogunle, Ikeja 102214, Lagos, Nigeria

Background

Jeremiah is a two-year-old firstborn in the family, with only one sibling, and they live in a mission house. His father is a pastor, and his mother is a trader selling provisions on the church premises. Jeremiah is a well-behaved boy who enjoys playing with people. Since birth, he has been noticed to have a swelling in his right scrotum. The swelling has been appearing and disappearing but has currently increased in size. Despite using local herbs, there has been no significant improvement in the associated pain. At the hospital, he was diagnosed with hydrocele

Medical history

Jaremiah presented with scrotal swelling; he was examined and diagnosed with Hydrocele. upon approval, he was admitted, and the Hydrocelectomy was done successfully. When he recovered, he was discharged home and his parents were thankful to Helpster.

Outcome

The persistent presence of a hydrocele can cause ongoing discomfort, heaviness, or a feeling of fullness in the scrotum. Although hydroceles are not typically associated with infections, untreated ones may become prone to infections, which can result in pain and complications. Larger hydroceles can interfere with activities like walking or participating in sports due to the added weight and size of the swollen scrotum. Surgical removal of the hydrocele sac is the most effective and permanent treatment for hydrocele. It is typically performed as an outpatient procedure under local or general anesthesia. The surgeon makes a small incision in the scrotum, drains the fluid, and removes the sac.
