Hindatu is a seven-year-old cheerful girl from a financially disadvantaged background, as her family is internally displaced. Despite her circumstances, she enjoys playing with friends and aspires to become a teacher in the future. Until about 2 months ago, Hindatu was in good health. However, she began experiencing flank and lower abdominal pains, painful urination (dysuria), and fever. While some symptoms improved after taking antibiotics and pain relievers, she recently developed urinary retention and was brought to UMD Clinic this morning. Upon examination, the doctor diagnosed her with bladder stones. Urgent surgery is needed to prevent further complications and address her condition.

She underwent surgery on 27th April,2024 and was discharged on 30th April, 2024. She feels better and her life has improved.
