Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Aisha, a cheerful thirteen-year-old girl from a financially disadvantaged family, is known for her lively spirit and willingness to help with household chores. However, Aisha's health took a downturn about six months ago when she began experiencing left flank pain and lower back pain, which intensified during urination. Seeking medical assistance, she visited another facility where doctors diagnosed her with left kidney stone. Unfortunately, her family lacked the financial means to cover the cost of surgery. Fortunately, Aisha was referred to the UMD Clinic through a Helpster volunteer for treatment. Urgent surgery is required to save her left kidney.

Outcome
Larger stones might require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones. Kidney stones can cause excruciating pain as they move through the urinary tract. If left untreated, the stone may continue to pass or become lodged in a position that causes persistent, severe pain.
