Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Moh is a clever boy from a financially disadvantaged family. To support his struggling household, he ventures out to sell sachet water. He is outgoing and possesses a keen interest in commerce. His aspiration is to become a successful business owner someday. Until a week ago, Moh was in good health. However, he began experiencing abdominal pain and pain in the right iliac fossa, accompanied by vomiting, fever, and diarrhea. Seeking medical help at a government-owned facility, he received antibiotics and pain relief medication, but his symptoms persisted. Lacking the means to return to the hospital, he resorted to alternative treatments at home. Unfortunately, his condition worsened this evening. A neighbor, whose child benefited from Helpster Charity's free medical services, referred Moh to the UMD medical clinic. After examination and investigation, he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. An emergency surgery, known as an appendectomy, is necessary for his recovery.

Outcome
If appendicitis is not treated, it can lead to serious complications, the most severe being a ruptured appendix. When the appendix ruptures, it releases bacteria into the abdomen, potentially leading to a serious infection called peritonitis, which can be life-threatening. An abscess, which is a pocket of infection, may also form. Treatment for appendicitis usually involves surgery to remove the appendix, a procedure known as an appendectomy.
