Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Marion is a delightful child who finds joy in singing, dancing, and playing with her friends. She naturally assumes leadership roles, often organizing her peers into teams and effectively managing group activities, especially during playtime. Her favorite pastime is playing the teacher-student game, reflecting her aspirations to become a teacher in the future. However, Marion's usual cheerfulness has been overshadowed by discomfort over the past few days. She has been experiencing pain while urinating, accompanied by fever. Additionally, she has noticed an increased frequency of urination over the past two days. Initially, Marion's mother hoped these symptoms would resolve on their own. However, Marion's condition worsened, and she began experiencing nausea, prompting her mother to seek medical attention at the hospital.

Medical history

Marion reported frequent pain, especially during urination, over the past three days. She also had a fever. A urinalysis was conducted at the lab, and she was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. She was discharged with a prescription for antibiotics and pain relief medication. She was reviewed 5 days after discharge and she did not have any more pain. A repeat urinalysis was done and there were no signs of infection in her urine.

Outcome

The infection should be treated immediately, since it may spread onto kidneys, if left untreated. It will also keep causing pain and discomfort if the treatment is not received.
