Mohammed, a one-year-old boy, resides with his parents and relatives in a dilapidated house. He was previously in good health until approximately two months before presentation when he was observed to have developed swelling around the umbilicus, accompanied by abdominal pain. Upon evaluation at the hospital, he was diagnosed with an umbilical hernia.

Mohammed presented with umbilical swelling on account of which a diagnosis of Umbilical hernia was made. He had surgery done successfully. He also had proper post operative care with good surgical wound care and complete course of antibiotics before being discharged home.
