Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Ishmael, usually jovial and fond of laughter, exhibited a noticeable change in demeanor one week before hospital admission. During this time, he became notably irritable, crying frequently. He also experienced symptoms of coughing, fever, and developed rashes and pustules on his body.

Medical history

The child complains of septic rash, tongue alliterations ,hotness of the body, cough, a flu and ear discharge. He was sent to the lab for a malarial test and full haemogram. the malaria test turned out negative ,he had depleted WBC. He has been discharged with a series of anti biotics and some pain medication

Outcome

Without intervention, the infection may persist or worsen, causing ongoing pain, discomfort, and hearing loss. In some cases, untreated otitis media can lead to more severe complications, such as the spread of infection to nearby structures like the mastoid bone (mastoiditis) or the development of chronic otitis media, which can lead to long-term hearing problems. In children, chronic ear infections can potentially impact language development and academic performance. Therefore, prompt medical attention and appropriate treatment, often involving antibiotics or surgical interventions, are essential to prevent these complications and ensure optimal ear health.
