Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Travine is 4 months old. He lives with his parents in one of the slums of Kisumu towm. Travine is the first born child, the father is a motorcycle taxi rider and the mother is a house wife. The child was brought to the hospital with rashes all over his body. He has also been having a cough; he coughs a lot and even vomits after. Symptoms have been associated with a fever, loss of appetite and irritability. Investigations revealed that child has septicaemia and this has to be treated urgently
Medical history
Travine was admitted for three days in the ward receiving antibiotics iv
Outcome
The prognosis of a hemorrhagic rash with pus, when properly treated with antibiotics, depends on the the patient's overall health, and how fast the treatment is initiated. The prognosis is good with early antibiotic treatment. Most cases resolve within 7–14 days. If the hemorrhagic rash with pus is bacterial in origin and treated promptly, the prognosis is excellent with full recovery.
