Kevin lives with his father who is a widower, together with other siblings after their mother passed. his father to look after the cows. He would like to be a teacher when he grows up. He has been having nausea and persistent vomiting for the past few days. This has been associated with a headache, neck pain, general body malaise and a fever. His father tried to give him over the counter medication hoping to relieve him of the symptoms but he only got worse. Kevin's father was informed about Helpster Charity by the village elder and it was then that Kevin was brought to the hospital.

Patient came to the hospital complaining of vomiting headache ,neck paiñ and fever he was assessed tested and found to have severe malaria,he was treated with hydrating fluids antimalarials , drugs to stop vomiting and pain killers. He is now doing well

Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences. Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications.
