Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

YOBE STATE SPECIALIST HOSPITAL DAMATURU
Damaturu, Yobe State, 6 Gujba Road, Nigeria
Background
Ya'u Abubakar is a 13-year-old schoolboy living with his parents in a village. He dreams of becoming a lawyer when he grows up. He was apparently well until ten days prior to presentation when he started experiencing abdominal pain, swelling/distension, fever, and constipation. Upon presentation to the hospital, he was examined, investigated, and diagnosed with generalized peritonitis secondary to a typhoid perforation. He requires urgent surgery pending approval from Helpster.
Medical history
Yau Abubakar, who had a life-threatening typhoid ileal perforation, underwent a successful explorative laparotomy and repair of the perforation. With meticulous post-operative care, including antibiotics and wound management, he overcame complications and gradually regained his strength. After hospitalization and follow-up care, Ya'u made a full recovery. Parents are so grateful to helpster for the opportunity to have a free treatment.
Outcome
If typhoid perforation is not treated, it can lead to severe complications and potentially fatal. The leakage of intestinal contents into the abdominal cavity can cause peritonitis, which can spread throughout the body, leading to sepsis. The resulting infection can overwhelm the body's defenses, causing organs such as the kidneys, liver, and lungs to fail. oration involves. Immediate surgery is usually required to repair the perforation in the intestine. The surgical procedure typically involves closing the perforation and cleaning the abdominal cavity to prevent further infection.
