Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
She is honest and emotional, likes reading and her ambition is to be a journalist. She was well until 3 years before the presentation when she started having high grade fever with chills and rigors, associated with right hypochondriac pain and yellowish discoloration of the eye. The right hypochondriac pain was said to be sudden in onset, and severe in intensity which prevented her from sleeping, no known relieving factor. At about the same time she developed yellowish discolouration of the eye which was first noticed by her mother.
Medical history
Fatima was admitted in our facility and an assessment of Cholecystitis was made. She had her complete course of IV medications. She responded very well to the treatment as the presenting symptoms subsided. She was later discharged home on oral medications to continue her normal life and pursue her dream of becoming a journalist. She expressed her profound gratitude to helpster for coming to her aid.
Outcome
Patient should be admitted, and urgent samples should be taken for immediate investigations. The following investigations: Liver function test, liver ultrasound scan, EUCr, Full blood count are essential for proper evaluation of this patient.
