Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
She is compassionate and respectful girl, always like watching films and has a dream to be an actress. She was well until 2/52 before presentation when she started having right iliac fossa pain, said to be severe enough to prevent her from walking which is radiating to the umbilicus. No history of vomiting and diarrhea, no urinary symptoms, no cough or difficulty in breathing. On examination: Acutely ill looking, in severe painful distress, febrile, not pale, not dehydrated, no pedal oedema. ABD- Flat, MWR, right iliac fossa tenderness with guarding, liver and spleen not palpably enlarge, kidneys are not ballotable. A diagnosis of acute appendicitis is done
Medical history
Aisha was admitted in our facility where she was managed as a case of acute appendicitis. She had a succesfull surgery done where the appendix was removed. Her post operative care went well. She had her full course of medications and appropriate surgical wound care. She responded well to the treatment before being discharged later on to complete her recovery at home. She was very happy and grateful to helpster and the donors for helping her navigate through her illness.
Outcome
This case need emergency surgical intervention to remove the appendix (appendectotomy) however, the following investigations: Abdomino-pelvic Ultrasound Scan, FBC, EUCr, Random Blood glucose are necessary for proper evaluation. Other treatment modalities involves: IV Antibiotics to manage infection, Fluid and electrolyte replacement to prevent dehydration and Pain management.
