Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Charles is the 1st born in their family, and a role model to his younger siblings. He has a twin sister and 3 younger siblings. Charles would like to be a journalist in future. After doing his homework and helping around with some house chores, he can often be found reading story books in his free time to improve his command of English. He also likes tending to livestock. He was well until yesterday when he woke up with a stiff neck which was very painful with limited range of movement. The pain was so excruciating, he was unable to go to school.

Medical history

Charles woke up with a stiff neck which was very painful with limited range of movement. The pain was so excruciating, he was unable to go to school. He was prescribed medication to aid his recovery and manage the pain he was experiencing. A follow-up appointment was scheduled to monitor his progress. During that visit, Charles shared encouraging news—he reported a significant reduction in the neck pain and confirmed that he was continuing with his treatment as advised. Later on, his guardian returned to the facility with even better news: Charles had made a full recovery and had resumed his normal daily activities with ease.

Outcome

The doctor detected stiffness of neck, pain in the neck when trying to straighten it. The boy Charles also said he had mild headache.
