Zara A., 18

Zara is an 18-year-old girl and a graduate of Yelwa College. She lives with her parent happily and, in her leisure time, knits her traditional Hausa cap. Zara is a highly spirited girl who believes life will favor her someday and be a helper to her parent and siblings. Zarah started complaining more frequently about persistent headaches and lower back and neck pains that seemed to linger despite over-the-counter painkillers. She would often mention discomfort in her upper abdomen, describing it as epigastric pain that sometimes worsened after meals. Examination and investigations revealed a diagnosis of Malaria with Enteric fever and Peptic Ulcer Disease (PUD).

Zara was diagnosed with malaria, enteric fever, and peptic ulcer disease, a combination that made her illness especially tough. With compassionate care and the generous support of Helpster charity, she received the treatment she needed to heal. Zara’s family is profoundly grateful. Her recovery has brought joy and renewed hope to their lives.
