Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Khadija Hashimu is a lively 3-year-old girl living with her parents in a poor area of Bauchi, Nigeria. Despite hardship, she’s known for her bright smile and playful spirit, bringing joy to her family and community. The little girl started with a high fever, chills, and sweating that left her weak and restless. Soon after, she developed cough, runny nose, fast breathing, and struggling to eat and sleep as her condition worsened, leaving her parents deeply worried. Her parent’s financial condition pushed them to seek for medical help from Helpster charity. On presentation at our hospital, she was evaluated and diagnosed with Malaria and Lower Respiratory Tract Infection, and needs urgent treatment.
Medical history
Khadija was treated at Albisbir Hospital for Malaria and a Lower Respiratory Tract Infection (RTI) with support from Helpster Charity. She received antimalarial medication, antibiotics, and supportive care. Her condition improved steadily, and she fully recovered.
Outcome
With prompt treatment, recovery is likely. Without treatment, the combined illness can lead to severe complications or death, especially in young children. Early care is critical.
