Hassana Muhammad is a 17 year-old young mother living in Bauchi State with her baby and her poor husband. Despite her young age, Hassana works hard every day to care for her child and support her family, facing the daily challenges of poverty with strength and resilience. She dreams of a better future for herself and her baby, hoping for opportunities that will lift them out of their difficult circumstances. Hassana Muhammad, a 17-year-old mother in Bauchi, began suffering from constant lower belly pain and discharge due to chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Soon, she developed neck pain and stiffness from cervical spondylosis and later experienced sharp stomach pain and burning from peptic ulcer disease. Growing weaker, she was finally taken to the hospital for treatment. On presentation, she was evaluated and diagnosed with Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Cervical Spondylosis and Peptic Ulcer Disease.

Hassan was treated at Albisbir Hospital for Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Cervical Spondylosis, and Peptic Ulcer Disease. With support from Helpster Charity, she received a comprehensive treatment plan including antibiotics, pain relief, and ulcer medications. Over time, her symptoms improved significantly, and she was discharged with follow-up care to support her ongoing recovery.

Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) can be fully treated if caught early, but if left untreated, it may lead to long-term pain, fertility issues, or infertility. Cervical Spondylosis can be managed with pain relief and physical therapy, though it may worsen with age, and most people can manage symptoms well. Peptic Ulcer Disease typically heals with proper treatment, but can return if underlying causes like infection or medication use are not addressed.
