Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Arik Mia, a bright, game-loving boy with a thirst for knowledge, finds his dreams threatened by relentless recurrent adenotonsillitis. His father, a daily wage laborer, already strains every muscle to support Arik's older brother in madrasa and sister in school, leaving no reserves for Arik's urgent adenotonsillectomy. The family, caught in the grip of poverty, watches helplessly as medication fails to quell Arik's chronic sore throats and fevers. Without the vital surgery, Arik's vibrant spirit will be dimmed, forcing him to abandon his beloved studies and games, and trapping him in a cycle of worsening illness that will shatter his aspirations for a better future.

Medical history

Arik Mia 13 years old boy came with the complaints of sore throat for 3 days,Cough for 7 days , difficulty in deglutition for same duration, history of fever for 5 days ago and H/O tonsillitis several times in previous year , and admitted in this hospital on 16 May 2025 , then after proper examination and investigation she was diagnosed as chronic adenotonsillitis and was planned to treat surgically, after proper preanaesthetic check up her Adenotonsilectomy was done successfully on 16 May 2025 at night. Then she was kept in postoperative care and was shifted to her cabin bed . On 3 rd POD on 19 May 2025 she was discharged with appropriate medication and advice.

Outcome

The patient has been suffering from chronic adenotonsillitis for the past five years, with persistent symptoms including sore throat, dysphagia, nasal congestion, and breathing difficulties—particularly during sleep. Due to the prolonged duration and severity of the condition, surgical intervention in the form of adenotonsillectomy is urgently indicated to prevent further complications, such as chronic upper respiratory issues and obstructive sleep apnea. If left untreated, the patient remains at risk for recurrent otitis media, systemic infections, and other health consequences that may significantly impact overall well-being.
