Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Abu is a brave and active young boy who loves playing outside with his friends. One day, he fell from a tree and hurt his leg badly, causing him severe pain and making it difficult to walk. His family lives in a small tin house with only two rooms, and his father earns just 6000 BDT per month, which is not enough to cover the cost of the urgent surgery Abu needs to fix his broken femur. His mother is a housewife, and they have a younger sister in first grade, so they struggle to afford medical expenses. They need immediate surgery to repair Abu’s leg and help him recover quickly, but without help from donors, they cannot afford the treatment. The family is worried about Abu’s pain and future, and they are asking for support from Helpster donors so Abu can get the care he needs to heal and return to playing happily.

Medical history

Abu Rayhan was admitted to Central Clinic on May 27, 2025, with a fractured leg. On the same day, a surgical operation was successfully performed, and an implant was placed to stabilize the fracture. Following five days of post-operative care and monitoring, he was discharged in good condition on May 31, 2025. At the time of discharge, his father and mother were present to receive him. The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, Central Clinic, and Md Abdullah Miahfor their support and medical care. His father was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster, which significantly eased the burden of his son’s treatment.

Outcome

Abu is experiencing severe pain in his leg after falling from a tree, indicating a femur injury. He needs urgent surgical treatment to repair the broken thigh bone. If not treated properly, the injury may not heal correctly, leading to chronic pain and difficulty walking. In the worst case, he could develop long-term disability, making it hard for him to move or play in the future. Prompt surgery is essential to ensure proper healing and prevent serious complications.
