Musa Z., 4

Musa is a lively 4-year-old boy from a poor area in Bauchi. He’s the third of five children and loves spending his days playing with his siblings. Despite the hardships his family faces, Musa remains cheerful, energetic, and full of life, bringing joy to everyone around him. Musa began to feel unwell with a high fever, chills, and extreme tiredness. He later developed a persistent cough, difficulty breathing, and chest discomfort. His skin also became dry, itchy, and developed rough patches. His worried parent sought for Help from Helpster Charity. On presentation at our facility, he was evaluated and diagnosed with Malaria and Peptic Ulcer Disease.

Little Musa, just 4 years old, began to suffer from constant fever, weakness, and stomach pain that left him unable to play or eat. His family, already struggling financially, couldn’t afford the treatment he needed.In their time of need, they turned to Helpster Charity at Albisir Hospital. Thanks to their support, Musa received free medical care and the right treatment. Slowly, his strength returned, and his smile came back.

Malaria can be fully cured with antimalarial medication, especially when treated promptly. Delayed treatment, however, can lead to severe complications. PUD typically improves with medications and dietary changes. If left untreated, it may lead to bleeding, infection, or perforation of the stomach lining.
