Muhammad A., 15

Muhammad Ali is a 15-years-old child of a trader who lives below poverty line. He hardly earns money to feed the family. The boy is joyful and likes making new friends. He has dream to become an entrepreneur to empower the poor. About 5 months ago, he developed right sided pain, dysuria, nausea. He was presented to other facility for treatment but proved futile because of poverty. Upon hearing about Helpster through a patient relative who was treated some time ago on account hernia in our facility. On presentation at our facility, he was evaluated and diagnosed with Kidney stone.

Mohd Ali, a 15-year-old male, was referred to our facility with a right kidney stone. After thorough evaluation and investigation, he underwent elective right nephrolithotomy. The surgery was successful without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 5 days for close monitoring and treatment. The patient recovered well and was discharged home after 5 days, with follow-up care scheduled for 1 week. Currently, the child is doing well, has recovered, and has resumed regular activities at home.

Larger stones might require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones. Stones can cause recurrent UTIs, which may become chronic and can lead to more serious kidney infections.
