Brighton is a 5-year-old boy. His mother has a mental illness and is unable to take care of the child. No one knows Brighton's father. His grandma, who used to care for him, has sadly passed away. Now, he lives with his maternal uncle who took him in after his grandma's passing. Brighton can't walk because his legs are bent, and he's had a fungal infection on his head for three years. He's usually a playful kid, but he looks frustrated because he can't walk or run like his friends due to his leg problems, as well as he cannot go to school.

Brighton is a young child who was abandoned at a tender age. His father’s whereabouts are unknown, and his mother, unfortunately, isn't mentally fit to care for him. After being raised by his grandmother, who sadly passed away, Brighton was taken in by a new guardian when he was four. However, it became apparent that Brighton couldn't sit without support or stand on his own. Despite the guardian's efforts to seek medical help, financial constraints made it difficult to get the necessary treatment for him. When Brighton started physiotherapy at the hospital, he was unable to sit unsupported. But after several sessions of dedicated care, he began to show remarkable progress—he could sit without help and even started crawling. Today, Brighton is able to walk with support, and thanks to the kindness of a well-wisher, he has been enrolled in a nearby school. Through the compassionate support of Helpster Charity and Elgon View, Brighton received exceptional care from our skilled doctors. This intervention has brought hope and joy to his family, and today, Brighton is not only stable but thriving. He can now move around with a walking aid, and his future looks brighter than ever. To treat Bilateral Lower Limb condition, Brighton needs physiotherapy for at least a month. If left untreated, the child's ability to move and walk can become severely limited, affecting their independence and quality of life. The condition may lead to permanent limb deformities, making it even more challenging to walk or engage in everyday activities. As contractures progress, they can cause chronic pain and discomfort in the affected limbs.
