Afolabi Islamiyat is the 5th child in a family of 9, struggling to make ends meet after losing their father. Afolabi Islamiyat, a young patient, presented with a 3-month history of recurrent, debilitating lower abdominal pain, which has worsened significantly. She is now experiencing severe vomiting, high-grade fever, and excruciating pain, rendering her unable to walk or even stand. Her condition is dire, and she urgently requires medical attention. Afolabi Islamiyat presented to the facility on an account of lower admonial pain and after investigation appendix was discovered and patient was worked up for surgery and had an appendectomy done. patient was discharged in a stable clinical on oral antibiotics, analgesics and routine wound care after the surgery. she was advised on adequate rest to avoid strenuous activities and to come follow up in the hospital.

Afolabi Islamiyat condition will improve with prompt surgical intervention and proper postoperative care. Early treatment is likely to result in a full recovery without complications. Conversely, delayed management may lead to increased risks of perforation, peritonitis, or abscess formation, emphasizing the importance of timely medical attention.
