Two-year-old Marjuk is a charming and lively little boy who lives in a small tin-shed house with his parents, grandmother, and brother, filling their crowded home with joy and laughter. His parents, who struggle to meet daily expenses, dream of seeing him grow up to become a kind and successful doctor, but their limited income makes even basic medical care difficult to afford. After several days of cough and fever, his condition worsened into severe pneumonia, leaving him with breathing difficulties and extreme weakness. Doctors warned that without proper and timely treatment, the infection could become life-threatening. The family learned about Helpster Charity through Dr. Munna, as other poor patients had received support at Narayanganj Poly Clinic, and they are now praying for help to save their beloved child.

Marjuk 2 years-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory tract infections for the past few months, but this time, his condition worsened as he developed severe pneumonia. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at Narayanganj Polyclinic, including oxygen therapy, nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, budesonide, and injectable antibiotics, along with hydrocortisone due to the seriousness of his condition. Marjuk was admitted on 30/1/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 2/2/26. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Marjuk is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. Doctors have advised immediate hospitalization, intravenous antibiotics, nebulization, and supportive therapy to control Marjuk’s severe pneumonia and help him breathe comfortably again. With timely and proper treatment, his infection can be cured, his lungs can recover fully, and he can return to his playful and healthy childhood. The prognosis is very good if he completes the full course of treatment under medical supervision. However, if left untreated, the infection could rapidly worsen, leading to severe breathing failure, spread of infection in the body, or even become life-threatening.
