Rukayya I., 11

Rukayya is an 11-year-old girl from a modest family who enjoys helping at home, reading storybooks, and playing with her younger siblings. She dreams of becoming a midwife so she can care for children in her community. She was brought to the hospital with three days of high fever, lower abdominal pain, and painful, frequent urination, sometimes with blood in her urine. She became weak, lethargic, and occasionally complained of back pain. Tests confirmed a severe urinary tract infection, and she was admitted for treatment with intravenous antibiotics, pain relief, hydration, and close monitoring.

After falling seriously ill with fever,lower abdominal pain and painful urination for 3 days, RUKAYYA struggled to keep up with school and daily life. Her family, worried and without enough money for treatment, turned to Helpster Charity for support. Thanks to Helpster Charity, she was evaluated and investigated in UMD hospital and diagnosed with Severe Urinary tract infection. She was admitted and had antibiotics,intravenous fluids with other supportive treatment in the hospital for 3 days. Slowly, she recovered, symptoms subsided, and she regained her strength. She was discharged home with her parents, and she can enjoy his childhood and return to school. Rukayya and her family are deeply thankful to Helpster Charity for their kindness and timely help that gave her a second chance at health and hope.

Rukayya, was evaluated and diagnosed with Severe urinary Tract Infection (UTI),which is a medical condition that can be a life-threatening condition when it spreads to the kidneys.This requires a prompt treatment. The doctor's opinion is that she had a severe illness requiring urgent intervention, the prognosis is currently good given the documented clinical improvement and stable condition following admission and treatment.
