Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Seven-year-old Faizan Reza is a quiet and resilient child who had been enduring pain and discomfort for weeks while living with his parents, grandmother, and siblings in a small overcrowded shelter in Geneva Bihari Camp. His father, Sarwar Alam, works long hours as a low-paid hotel worker, earning just enough to provide basic food and rent for the family, leaving no savings for urgent medical care. As Faizan’s painful swelling worsened, making urination difficult and causing fever and infection, his strength began to fade, deeply worrying his mother and grandmother. Without timely surgery and proper treatment, his condition could lead to severe infection, worsening pain, and serious complications affecting his urinary health. After learning about Helpster Charity during a medical outreach camp in Geneva Camp, the family sought help, hoping to save their beloved son from further suffering.

Medical history

The patient Faizan Reza, aged 7 years, was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital Ltd. on 16 February 2026 with the diagnosis of Left Sided Hydrocele with Phimosis. He underwent Left Herniotomy and Circumcision on the same day under proper surgical care. Following the procedure, he showed steady improvement and was kept under observation. He was discharged on 17 February 2026 with medications and follow-up advice for continued recovery. The patient and his family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity for supporting the treatment during their time of urgent need.

Outcome

Doctors have advised left-sided herniotomy along with treatment for phimosis to correct Faizan’s condition and relieve his pain and urinary difficulty. With proper surgery and postoperative care, he is expected to recover well and return to a normal, active childhood without ongoing discomfort or risk of infection. The procedure will prevent further swelling and reduce the chances of future complications affecting his urinary and reproductive health. However, if left untreated, the condition could worsen, leading to severe infection, increased pain, possible obstruction, and long-term damage. Timely surgical intervention is therefore essential to ensure his healthy growth and well-being.
