Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Seven-year-old Tanvir Hossain lives with his parents and siblings in a small, overcrowded shelter in Geneva Bihari Camp in Mohammadpur. His father, Md. Shahabuddin, works in a factory and earns only about 7,500 BDT per month, which barely covers food and basic needs for their six family members, leaving the family unable to afford medical treatment. Tanvir is a gentle and cheerful child who loves playing with his siblings, but the severe pain from his hernia and ongoing breathing problems have made him weak and unable to enjoy a normal childhood. His family learned about Helpster Charity during a medical outreach camp organized in their community and reached out for help when they realized they could not manage the treatment costs alone. Without urgent treatment, Tanvir’s hernia could become strangulated—cutting off blood supply and causing severe infection—while his breathing condition may worsen, making the situation life-threatening for the young boy

Medical history

The patient Tanvir Hossain, aged 7 years, was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital on 16 February 2026 with the diagnosis of Right Sided Inguinal Hernia with Respiratory Tract Infection. He underwent Right-sided Herniotomy under general anesthesia on 17 February 2026 to address the hernia and prevent further complications. Following the surgery and necessary medical management, Tanvir showed steady improvement and his condition became stable. He was discharged on 19 February 2026 with instructions for medication, wound care, and follow-up visits. Tanvir and his father expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity for supporting his treatment and giving him the chance to recover and return to a healthy childhood.I’m

Outcome

Doctors have recommended herniotomy under general anesthesia (GA) to repair Tanvir’s inguinal hernia and prevent further complications. This surgery will close the weak opening in the abdominal wall and stop the intestine from pushing through, which will relieve his pain and allow him to return to normal activities such as playing and studying. With proper treatment and recovery, Tanvir is expected to live a healthy and active life like other children his age. However, if the hernia is left untreated, the trapped intestine could lose its blood supply, leading to severe pain, infection, and a life-threatening emergency that would require urgent surgery. Early treatment is therefore critical to protect Tanvir’s health and future.
