Nine-year-old Nahid Islam is a cheerful and kind-hearted boy who dreams of becoming a teacher, even though he struggles daily with breathing difficulties caused by enlarged nasal tissue and polyps. He lives with his father Hashem Ali, a day laborer, his mother, elder sister Halima—who also suffers from tonsil problems—and his grandparents in a six-member family that survives on a very limited income. As the only earning member, his father can barely manage daily expenses and cannot afford the medical costs and possible surgeries needed for both children. Without timely treatment, Nahid’s breathing problems may worsen, leading to severe sleep disturbance, repeated infections, and long-term health complications. After learning about Helpstar through Sadika, the family reached out with hope for support to give Nahid and Halima a healthy future.

The patient, Nahid Islam, 9 years old, was admitted to City Clinic on 01 May 2026. A successful Polypectomy operation was performed during the admission period. The child responded well to treatment and showed satisfactory recovery. He was discharged on 05 May 2026 with proper medical advice and follow-up instructions. Doctors have recommended endoscopic polypectomy to remove the nasal polyps and clear Nahid’s blocked airways.
