Ten-month-old Ali Hosen lives with his parents, Md. Sazid and Sabana Begum, and his elder sister in a crowded shelter in Geneva Bihari Camp. His father earns about 9,500 BDT per month from a small cloth-related job, which barely covers their daily living costs and leaves no savings for medical treatment. Ali developed fever, cough, runny nose, loose stool, and severe breathing difficulty, which worried his family. During a medical outreach camp organized by Helpster Charity and Al-Manar Hospital, he was examined by doctors and diagnosed with bronchiolitis and nutritional anemia, and he was admitted for treatment. Without timely and proper medical care, his breathing problem could worsen and become life-threatening, which his financially struggling family cannot manage alone.

The patient Ali Hosen, aged 10 months, was admitted to Al-Manar Hospital Ltd. on 16/02/2026 with the diagnosis of Bronchiolitis with Nutritional Anemia. He received inpatient conservative treatment, including medication, nebulization, and supportive care under pediatric supervision. Following proper medical management, he showed steady clinical improvement and was discharged on 20/02/2026 with advice for continued medication, nutritional support, and follow-up visits. Doctors have advised hospitalization under a pediatrician with conservative and supportive therapy to closely monitor Ali Hosen’s breathing and overall condition. With proper treatment, oxygen support if needed, medications, and nutritional care, his lung infection can gradually improve and his strength can return as the anemia is treated. This care will help stabilize his breathing, reduce the infection, and support healthy growth and development. However, if he does not receive timely medical treatment, the breathing difficulty could worsen, potentially leading to severe respiratory complications. In such a fragile infant, untreated bronchiolitis combined with anemia can become life-threatening and may have long-term effects on his health.
