Five-year-old Md. Abdullah is a calm and polite nursery student who loves playing with his brothers, Minhajul and Mamun, and dreams of becoming a teacher one day. He lives with his parents in a family of five that survives on his father Md. Atiar’s small income of 6,000 taka per month as a day laborer, without even a permanent home. With daily expenses already overwhelming, the family has no savings to afford hospital treatment for Abdullah’s sudden severe diarrhoea and dehydration. If he does not receive urgent medical care, his severe dehydration could quickly become life-threatening and lead to shock or organ failure. After learning about Helpster Charity through a leaflet, his anxious parents reached out with hope to save their little son’s life.

Md. Abdullah was admitted on 14.02.2026 with acute watery diarrhoea and severe dehydration. Upon admission, she received immediate medical management, including intravenous fluids, necessary medications, and close monitoring of her vital signs and fluid balance. The nursing team provided continuous care to ensure proper hydration, nutrition, and comfort. With timely treatment and careful supervision, her condition gradually improved, her dehydration was corrected, and her strength returned. She responded well to the treatment and was discharged in a stable and secure condition on 17.02.2026.

The doctor has recommended immediate hospital admission for Md. Abdullah so he can receive proper hydration, feeding, and other supportive care. With timely treatment, his fluid levels can be restored, his weakness will improve, and he will have a strong chance of making a full recovery. Supportive therapy will help his body regain strength and prevent further complications. However, if he is left untreated, his dehydration may worsen rapidly, leading to severe illness and possible organ failure. Without urgent care, this condition could become life-threatening for such a young child.
