Krisno Bormon is a gentle and curious 7-month-old infant who lives with his parents and four other family members in a small tin-made house. His father is a day laborer earning around 6,000 BDT per month, which is barely enough to support the six-member family, leaving no savings for medical emergencies. Recently, Krisno began passing loose stool 10–15 times a day with vomiting and fever for four days, and doctors at City Clinic diagnosed him with acute gastroenteritis with signs of dehydration. Having previously struggled to afford his pneumonia treatment, the family is once again unable to bear the cost of hospital care. If he does not receive proper and timely treatment, severe dehydration and infection could become life-threatening. After learning about Helpster Charity through Sadika Rahman, his father has humbly sought assistance to ensure his baby’s safe recovery.

Krisno Bormon is a 7-month-old child, had been battling recurrent respiratory Acutr Gastroenteritis for the past few days. Despite multiple courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his health continued to decline, leaving him lethargic and in a toxic state. In desperate need of emergency hospitalization, he received critical care at City Clinic. Krisno was admitted on 14/2/26, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 19/02/2026. Now, after receiving the care he needed, Krisno is doing well and has returned home, bringing joy back to his family. With tears of gratitude in their eyes, his parents said, "Thank you to Helpster Donors and City Clinic; we are forever grateful for your support!"

The doctor has advised that with prompt treatment, including intravenous fluids, oral rehydration, and supportive care, Krisno is expected to recover completely within a short period. Proper management will restore his fluid balance, reduce fever, and help him regain his strength, allowing him to continue his normal growth and development. Close monitoring in the hospital will also prevent further complications and ensure his safe recovery. However, if left untreated, ongoing dehydration may rapidly worsen, leading to weakness, reduced consciousness, and serious infection. In severe cases, untreated dehydration can become life-threatening for an infant of his age.
