Aksha Yamine is an 8-month-old baby girl living with her mother and 5-year-old brother in the crowded Geneva Bihari Camp after their father abandoned the family. Her mother works as a maid whenever possible, but caring for two small children makes it extremely difficult to earn enough, and the family often struggles to afford even basic food and clothing. When Aksha fell seriously ill with a severe lung infection that caused breathing distress and put dangerous strain on her heart, her mother had no way to pay for the urgent hospital treatment she needed. Without proper medical care, Aksha’s condition could quickly worsen and become life-threatening. The family learned about Helpster Charity during a medical outreach at Al Manar Hospital and is now hoping for support to save their little daughter’s life.

Aksha Yamine was admitted to Al Manar Hospital on 16 February 2026, where she received immediate medical care including hospitalization, oxygen support, nebulization, antibiotics, and continuous monitoring to stabilize her breathing and heart condition. Over the course of four days, doctors and nurses closely observed her progress and provided the necessary supportive treatment to control the lung infection and improve her oxygen levels. Gradually, her condition improved, and she became stable enough to be safely discharged on 20 February 2026 with medical advice for continued care at home. Aksha’s mother expressed deep gratitude to Helpster Charity, its dedicated volunteers, and the medical team at Al Manar Hospital for their kindness, support, and timely treatment that helped save her daughter’s life. The family is extremely thankful for the compassion and assistance they received during this very difficult time.

Doctors have recommended hospitalization, antibiotic therapy, nebulization, and supportive treatment to help Aksha Yamine recover from her severe lung infection and stabilize her breathing. With timely treatment, the infection in her lungs can be controlled, her breathing can improve, and the strain on her heart can gradually reduce, giving her a strong chance to recover and return to a healthy childhood. Continuous monitoring in the hospital will also help prevent complications and ensure that her oxygen levels and heart function remain stable. However, if Aksha does not receive this urgent treatment, the infection may worsen, causing severe breathing failure and increasing stress on her heart, which could lead to life-threatening complications. Early medical care is therefore critical to protect her life and support her healthy development.
