Blessing Ezekiel is a young woman of 26 years. Married to Ezekiel Danboyi of Gataku village in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, a peasant farmer and commercial motorcycle rider which he acquired through hire purchase and can only boast of 20,000 net income monthly. They live in a single room in the village family compound. Blessing is a phlegmatic in nature. She only completed primary education. She loves hanging out with friends during festivals and only wanted to be a seamstress when she was much younger. The patient was rushed to our facility around 9:30pm on 25th February,2026. This patient had previously had Cesarean Section outside wedlock and has since concealed the history to her present husband due to marriage stigma. We also noticed that it was due to the financial implications that they delayed in going to the hospital. Therefore, she was in labor and was kept at home to be attended to by a midwife who for 18 Hours couldn't do anything until she arrived our facility with fetal and maternal distress and vulva edema. Upon presentation at our facility, she was thoroughly examined and a diagnosis of CephaloPelvic Disproportion was confirmed. She was urgently admitted, stabilized and necessary consents obtained for the emergency Caesarean section. She underwent a cesarean section under general anesthesia, with no complications. The procedure was successful, the mother and new baby together with the father are all doing well and recovering well.

Blessing Ezekiel 26 years old gravidal 1 and Para 0 underwent an emergency lower segment Cesarean Section (LSCS) under general anesthesia. She was successfully delivered of baby girl. However, due to the amount of blood loss which resulted into anaemia, the patient received a compatible screened 450(units) transfusion was successful and well tolerated. Patient was discharged. Wound healing is excellent and Patient has been scheduled for routine cleaning and monitoring of wound. Mother and child is recovering well.

The findings indicates a Neglected Obstructed Labor. This is an obstetric emergency. Delivery must be expedited immediately, usually via emergency Caesarean section, to save the lives of both the mother and the fetus and to prevent further complications such as uterine rupture or obstetric fistulas. The prognosis for this patient is dependent on immediate delivery. The mother is at significant risk for postpartum hemorrhage and sepsis. The fetus is at high risk for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) due to prolonged distress. If delivery is not expedited immediately, the prognosis includes uterine rupture, stillbirth, and obstetric fistula formation.
