Sidratul Muntaha is a gentle and cheerful 1.5-year-old baby girl who brings joy to her parents and grandparents despite their difficult life. She lives with her father, Mainul Fakir, a garments worker who earns only about 8,000 BDT per month, her mother Tania Akter, and her elderly grandparents in a fragile rented home, making it impossible for the five-member family to afford costly medical treatment. When Sidratul developed a high fever, cough, and painful urination, her condition quickly worsened and doctors diagnosed her with enteric fever and a urinary tract infection, requiring urgent hospital care. The worried family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Masud Rana and came to Narayanganj Poly Clinic seeking help because they have no savings to continue her treatment. Without proper medical care, the infection could spread and become life-threatening for the small child, putting her fragile life at serious risk.

Sidratul Muntaha was admitted to Narayanganj Polyclinic on 23/02/2026 after being diagnosed with enteric fever and a urinary tract infection, which caused high fever, weakness, and painful urination. Doctors immediately started intravenous antibiotics, supportive care, hydration therapy, and close monitoring to control the infection and prevent serious complications. Gradually, her condition improved, the fever subsided, and the infection cleared after completing the full course of treatment. She was discharged from the hospital on 27/02/2026 in stable condition and returned home healthy, bringing great relief to her family. With deep gratitude, her family sincerely thanked Helpster donors, Helpster volunteers, and the medical team at Narayanganj Polyclinic for their generous support and compassionate care that helped save their child’s life.

Doctors have recommended parenteral antibiotics along with supportive therapy to treat Sidratul Muntaha’s enteric fever and urinary tract infection. With proper treatment, the infection can be controlled, her fever will gradually subside, and she is expected to regain her strength and return to a normal, healthy childhood. Doctors are hopeful that timely medical care will help her recover fully without long-term complications. However, if the infection is left untreated, it can spread in her small body and lead to severe dehydration, blood infection, or damage to vital organs. In such situations, the condition can become life-threatening, making prompt treatment essential to protect and save her life.
