Protima Rani, a devoted 29-year-old mother, is going through a high-risk pregnancy while living with her husband and elderly in-laws, who rely entirely on her husband’s small income as a day laborer, making it impossible for the family to afford proper medical care. Despite her condition, she remains strong and hopeful, wishing only for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. She has been experiencing abdominal pain and fluid discharge, and her condition has become serious, putting both her life and her unborn child at risk. The family came to know about Helpster Charity through volunteer Sadika Rahman and is now seeking support for her treatment. Without timely medical care, there is a high risk of complications during delivery that could be life-threatening for both mother and baby.

The patient, Protima Rani was admitted to City Clinic on 25th March 2026. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy3.0 kg male baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 29th March 2026 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

The doctor has advised a Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) as the safest option to ensure a controlled and secure delivery for both Protima and her baby. With timely surgery, the risks related to the breech position and low amniotic fluid can be carefully managed, greatly reducing the chances of birth complications and protecting the lives of both mother and child. A planned LUCS will help prevent prolonged labor, fetal distress, and possible injury during delivery. However, if proper treatment is not provided, there is a serious risk of obstructed labor, severe bleeding, or distress to the baby, which could become life-threatening. Early surgical intervention offers the best chance for a safe outcome and a healthy recovery for both mother and newborn.
